I will never forget the first time I stepped into Ilocos Sur National High School. From that day I felt overwhelmed that I'll be spending my high school life in an institution that has a high standard and is envied by other schools.

Within my four year stay at this school, many things happened and I may say that I really had my BEST TIME..

Now that I'm already graduating, of course I don't like to leave my alma mater without thanking it, do I?

JS PROM MADNESS??

ENJOYED our LAST JS PROM,..such ironic words. I don't actually know how to describe that night, whether it was a fairytale or just a sign of the nearing end. Well, let me just narrate what happened..

there were a lot of preparations before the grand night took place. Decortaions, invitations, practices and the such, everybody was so busy but then FINALLY the day of the ball came, everybody was all in their most beautiful gowns and tuxedos and I too of course was in my glittered blue colored gown looking so fine and glamorous BUT i came late, hehehe...I actually wanted to have a GRAND ENTRANCE so that's why. My first dance was...(Ooops, let's cut it first, let go to my..

First, I was not actually that excited because aside from the fact that I have already exprienced it and it's my second time, I know that I'll never have the chance to dance with the person that I really wanted to or should I say liked because he was not there, and to think that it'll be the last. Second, when I got to the gym, I didn't have any seat to sit on, so what did they expect me to do? STAND THE WHOLE EVENING??! Third, my feet swelled..that devastating! PERIOD!

My first dance was Vince, and well I already expected him because he asked me before the night if he can be my first, he kept on asking so I just said yes. I didn't even have any idea if how many guys danced with me. What I can only remember is that i recieved FIVE BOUQUET OF FLOWERS. I was so flattered by those who gave me, I really appreciated them.

Then there was the cotillion. The worst part of the prom. My feet really swelled after that, just imagine..me dancing with a 3 heeled sandals! the pain was so unbearable. huhuhu.. ='(

then after the program, we totally had our time on capturing every moment together, of course this will be our LAST JS PROM..

since the stage was full of people, we created our own stage at the dance floor. I enjoyed the group pictures especially with the JERPS. I felt myself crying that time, realizing that we will never have moments like that after graduation because some of us will already go to far places for theri college.

WHAT'S NEW???

I'm really really enjoying my TLE class, because besides from going more advance there's still something better about it. You know what is it? Well, i learned a new thing, and it's all about Windows Movie Maker. It's actually very useful especially when you want to have something to watch. creating like this can be good hobby and it's a woderful source of entertainment. Telling you frankly, at first I thought it was just another boring topic that has a lot of procedures. Actually, eyeing the two thick xerox on the WMM, I just said to myself, I'm going to travel to Boredom City, but then when we created our own WMM, all my assumptions were put to rejection. hehehe....

I created a movie maker about my family, I loved what I made and with this output, indeed my creativity was developed but then when i was making my movie maker, I had experienced running through a rocky road...it was so exhausting because I had a rough time uploading my pictures and choosing what style to use, or what trasitions and effects to add. It was totally mind boggling! and the worst part was, when I finished creating my movie maker, the saving part wouldn't be completed, it was as if the "there was an error" sign in the computer keep on flashing to my eyes. At that time I really lost hope and I just cried. I thought i wouldn't pass my TLE subject because I haven't passed my movie maker.

Crying was not the best answer to my problem so I thought of a better way to solve my dilema. What I did is, since the computer wasn't able to save my work, I just brought our laptop at school and directly presented it to our teacher.

I was so relieved after that because I knew that I finally thought of a way to solve my problem. I was just so thankful.

Well I guess, i should have not experienced this badluck if only I listened to all the lectures about the Windows Movie maker. Reading the xerox as guide wasn't enough to fulfill the requirments in our class, so I promised myself that next time, I'll be all ears whenever there is a lecture or discussion.

wHew! Enough with the sleepless nights reviewing and tireful days rushing, finally the test is OVER!! And of course the semestral break just went by fast. then there came November then December, hours to days, days to weeks, weeks to months...TIME really runs fast...and it's JANUARY....but wait...what happened to me this past two months??

nOvember---

hay, after the one-week vacation, it's school day again. we started discussing html, and I'm glad I'm learning-NEW things and facts at that. we also had several hands-on activities and written activities. Well, though I'm gaining knowledge about the topic in TLE, I met problems while working on those activities. one thing was that some of my classmates were already working on Act. 10 and I was still on Act. 7! Gosh!! I was already left behind, --- You must be thinking I was just lazy-that's why BUT you're wrong. I'm really dedicated to my studies but we really had a lot of activities in the SSG so I didn't have the time, so what I did was rush the other hands-on to be able to cope with the other html tags activities. Thankfully I did finish it,...hehehe. I promised myself to manage my time so that I'll be able to attend to all my responsibilities and priorities.

We had enough knowledge to create our own web page!! i mean how cool is that!! yehey! I was so excited BUT--A BIG BUT we haven't started anything yet..because the workstation computer #4 was virused so there was no available computer for us to use.

While the entire MARCONI CLASS is busy doing their web page, me and the others who are working at the jammed computer just sat there watching the others work..We are so UNLUCKY!!!

it's JANUARY, and only a few months from now, i'll be graduating. I realized that I should do better--or do my BEST rather because I'm running out of time...

MAGIC NINE

--thOugh i it took a lot of sweat and hard work,..it was all worth it--

weLL, i reaLLy learned a lot this quarter..
we tackled the html and its wide coverage, we had nine hands-on activities and seven written activities. we took the different html tags which we can apply on editing our html files and some of the tags we took, were also helpful in editing my friendster profile, hehehe. there were stand alone tags and container tags which we also tackled. it was really fun and i feel that we are already advancing our topics in TLE.

the hands-on activities were easy but in the written, shOcks..it was totally mind bOggLing. it was because i can't really determine what were the different uses of the tags, some were alike and some were really hard. another problem i encoutered was the lack of time. i seldom rushed my activities because my partner is so slow in doing his (no offense to him : ) hehehe) and when it's my time to work, i have something to do somewhere, so meaning i can't attend my hands-on thats why it commonly results to rushing!! head-ache much??

though i had many problems regarding my activities, i still solved those problems. hay!!

what i did was i asked the help of my classmates and also analyzed the tags so i finally finished all my written activities , though it's not all perfect..!! in rushing problem, well as you have known me..im good in rushing! it's actually my field..hehehe..that's why i finished everything, no worries, no problems..yehey!

moving on i will do better next time!! i really mean it, because as what i can see i'm not really trying my best, sometimes laziness gets the better of me, but now i know this should stop..

i must perceivea nd work hard for a better grade..

Experience is the best teacher.

I may say I have learned a lot with all the experiences that I have encouterred, along with the problems I met and solved, these things made me another person, a person who is much stringer and brighter, a person who is more responsible-that's me-the new JAMAICA!

Many things happened this past few weeks. We had our first periodical test and it was really hard, in TLE IV, the test was a bit easy and a little bit hard, I was hard-up in the acronym part because some of the words there was not really familiar to me and that I really didn't review that well. After the test I was really nervous of my score, I thought might get a low score but I we checked our papers, I was satisfied with my score but I promised myself that I'll do better next time and that I'll really be focus in reviewing my notes.

Last August 24 was the Mass Induction, it was successful due to the cooperation of the General Assembly and the Coordinating Council but before that happened, there were a lot of things to do and because of thsi I learned to work faster and to work with others cooperatively. I was in-charged of the program and invitation and thankfully I finished it on time.

I didn't attend my classes last August 31 because that was our travel day. We went to Baguio for the National Leadership Training, we stayed there for about six days. I totally enjoyed my time there. I learned a lot especially in leadership, we had excellent lectures and I was totally amazed. There were also the Ateneo students who were our facilitators for the event. On the last day, it was thursday, we had the "lakbay-aral", it was very enjoyable, we went to the Botanical Garden, Philippine Military Academy, also to the Mansion and a lot more.

Though I enjoyed my six days stay at Baguio, I suferred when i reached Vigan, we missed a lot of lessons, in our TLE IV, we got to missed the hands-on activity #1 and also the written activity #1. Of course we also missed some discussions, this was a big problem for us, so what we did was, we rushed our lessons, coped-up with the past discussions and focused more on the present lessons.

Everything i learned, everything i gained....

i learned it through my different experiences..

just a simple proof that

EXPREINCE is really the BEST TEACHER...

In every second of a minute I face problems, in every minute of an hour,

i get to learn things and find solutions to my problems,

in every hour a day, i encounter different experiences and in every day of a week,

i get to be stronger and brighte from the things I've experienced

From the past two weeks, surely i can say that many things happened to me,

some of it maybe bad and some maybe pleasant.

Last July 16-17, 2007, we attended a seminar which was all about Home Nursing and

that it was sponsored by the Red Croos Youth oraganization(RCY).

It was a lot of fun because we performed a lot of activities and

we learned a lot especially in the field of injured course and home nursing.

I can say that with all those information that i have learned,

i can apply it to my daily tasks.

shockz! last tuesday, i was the one who made the command, i was really nervous and what i did was, i thought of things that made me calm

so that i can deliver my command well, but unfortunately,

it was still the worst. hehehe... but then again,

i just thought, I'll do my best next time. right??

we also joined the foodfest,

first we did the planning, we thought of the item that we will sell,

and we concluded that we will sell "Miki". My groupmates were Paul, Stella, Emerald, Ruth,Suzette, Jiezl and Katreen. we totally enjoyed the foodfest

and we are so happy because we sold the whole pot.

the only thing we needed was cooperation

because with this we can easily do our work without

experiencing any trouble, and of course

the heart to sell...weeeeh! im so melo-dramatic! hehehe...

we've been creating and editing our blogs, the things

that I've learned from our TLE IV which was focused on blogs were finally applied,

i was just confused because we also tackled the characteristics

and kind of blogs so i thought why should we take this,

but then i realized that it really helped me in creating the blog.

i love my blog, especially with my photos in it(I feel beautiful)

because i think mine is very attractive,

but i always keep on aditing it because the blogs of my classmates

are similar to mine.

i was also scolded last week because, i was late in going home.

i think it was about 8 in the evening when i got home.

i said i went to a birthday party and i will just took me a

little while but then, it was a late dinner and i cant go home

because it was to embarrassing if i'll be going ahead so i just waited.

actually i know it was my fault because i said it will just take a little

while but then it was 8:00 pm when we went home, so i promised myself to be more responsible and promised to go home on time! >just playing safe<

Last july 28, we went to UNP for the UPCat review.

it actually lasted from 8:00-4:00(not really sure).

we learned a lot especially on the things that we will take in the test.

our lecturers were ver intelligent..can't even internalize all the informations at a time(nosebleed!) hahaha!

i really learned a lot from the past two weeks,

i really didnt encounter a lot of problems

but i know if i had a few, i'd surely solve them.

i look forward in gaining more knowledge about the internet!

i just Love TLE!!
